Speaker bio
Paolo is a Director at Arup. Based in Milan, he is the Sustainable Development Leader for Italy and the Urban Energy Leader for Arup’s Europe Region. He supports designers and clients in developing projects characterised by innovative, sustainable, and durable solutions, from the architectural to the urban scale. Paolo lectures at universities and is a keynote speaker at conferences and symposia. He promotes a science-based approach to sustainable development, climate mitigation and adaptation, and advocates for the transition to circular-economy models in the construction industry. He is a Building Life Ambassador for GBC.
