Stefano Boeri, architect and urban planner, is Full Professor of Urban Planning at Politecnico di Milano. Architect of the Bosco Verticale (Milan, 2014), his work spans urban visions and design, focusing on the geopolitical and environmental implications of cities. As President of Triennale Milano (since 2018), he served as Commissioner of the 24th International Exhibition, Inequalities (May–November 2025).
A leading figure in international architectural discourse on environmental issues, he is known for his research on urban forestry and biodiversity. His approach, Green Obsession, received the UN SDG Action Award in the “Inspire” category for advancing the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
